Traditionally, the first Sunday of Advent is a Sunday of Bare Branches. Before we decorate the church with pine boughs and evergreens, we gather to remember the bareness of the earth in the winter.
Our 5 pm service is a service for all ages and all families, and is a festival of lessons and carols. Remember the night Christ was born with candlelight, wonder, and song.
This intimate service is for those who enjoy the vigil of Christmas. The sanctuary will be lit with candlelight, and the service will feature the music of our four section leaders.
