The Student Ministries Team is working on our first “sprint.” Each sprint is a series of tasks that we work on for a few months based on prioritizing recommendations from the Ministry Architects report. We are making quick progress and we will start a new set of tasks in March. We have been working on:

• Evaluating currently used children’s ministry spaces on Sunday mornings and identifying new spaces that could be used
• Determining additional volunteer needs on Sunday mornings
• Designing renewed programming for older elementary children
• Connecting with youth and families to determine their wants and needs for ministry programming.

We are also discussing plans for the Easter Egg Hunt and VBS.
On February 23rd and 24th, we joined Sean Williams from Ministry Architects for a Vision Summit to explore the vision, values, and 3-year goals for the Student Ministries. We had productive conversations, and key themes emerged around building community and serving others. The staff are now working to finalize the vision, values, and goals – stay tuned for more information!
