The next Music & Arts Series event, Chanting to the Divine: An Evening in the South Asian Devotional Tradition of Kirtan, will be at 7:00 pm Saturday, December 1. Hamline’s A Cappella Choir presents its annual christmas concert Sunday, December 2 in Hamline Church at 4:00 pm. Featured will be resplendent music of the season with trumpet and organ, and a reflection by Prof. Earl Schwartz of the religion department. Selections will include repertoire that the choir will be performing in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic during their January Concert Tour.
