Hamline Church will host a viewing of the documentary Doctrine of Discovery: Unmasking the Domination Code. A result of the collaborative efforts by Dakota filmmaker and Director Sheldon Wolfchild and Co-Producer Steven Newcomb (Shawnee, Lenape), this powerful and landmark documentary brings to the big screen the theological and religious justifications for claims of domination over the original nations and peoples. Small group facilitated discussions will provide the opportunity to discuss our history, its impact on society today, and next steps.
