For many years Hamline Church has served a Sunday evening meal, six times a year, at the Dorothy Day Shelter. The shelter was recently torn down and the meal program moved temporarily. October is the first month we’ll be cooking at the Catholic Charities Distribution Center on the West Side and serving at Mary Hall downtown. A signup sheet and maps will be on a table by the UMW bulletin board. Please sign up in advance as space is tight in the temporary locations.

Here are the shifts:
1:00 pm | Food preparation staff are needed at the Catholic Distribution Center(CCDC) 431 Chester Street and E. Lafayette Frontage Road.

3:15 pm | Prep at Mary Hall 438 N Main St, St. Paul. Set up tables and chairs, and make sure they are wiped down. Making sure that all surfaces in the serving area are clean and wiped down and supplies for the meal are prepared and ready to go like trays, flatware, glasses and condiments. There will be a person there to help find things if needed.
