The League of Women Voters Roseville Area and League of Women Voters St. Paul will host a forum discussing fair housing for all members of the Ramsey County community including the 800+ students who were homeless last year and minimum wage earners that need to work 87 hours a week to afford a 2 bedroom apartment. Speakers include Alice Hausman, 66A State Representative and Chair of the House Housing Committee, Cathy ten Broeke, State Director of Prevent and End Homelessness and Maria Wetherall, Executive Director of Ramsey County Veterans Services and Chair of Heading Home Ramsey. The event is co-sponsored by Centennial, Hamline United Methodist Church, Council of Metropolitan Area Leagues of Women Voters (CMAL), National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and CAN (Catalyzing Community Action Network). It is free and open to the public.
