Partners in Ministry
Hamline Church is joined in ministry with the wider United Methodist Church in Minnesota and the world, with United Methodist organizations that span the nation, and with smaller organizations that share our space to serve our community.
THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The people of The United Methodist Church are putting faith into action by making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Through the power of our connection, we are making a positive difference in more than 125 countries. We are a part of the Minnesota Conference.
About United Methodists
The United Methodist Church traces its roots to John and Charles Wesley, 18th-century Anglican clergy who sought to help people develop a vibrantly personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to act with compassion and advocate for justice in response to God's grace. They urged people to gather in groups to hold each other accountable for their faith development.
RECONCILING MINISTRIES NETWORK
We are members of the Reconciling Ministries Network of The United Methodist Church, which means we declare ourselves to be open and affirming. Reconciling Ministries Network mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.
In Our Building
Hamline Midway Elders
