Summer Trips
Youth Summer Trip
Each summer, Hamline Church youth embark on a journey of service or sabbath. These trips build relationships and allow us to interrupt our lives in order to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. When we say "mission", we don't mean seeking to convert others--but rather to be deep in service with others, so that we might learn who we are in relationship to our neighbors and our God.
2019 YOUTH MISSION TRIP
This summer we have a team of 16 youth and 4 adults visiting New Orleans, LA July 20-26 for a week of service focusing on food and housing insecurity. If you would like to be included in email updates from our team, please contact our youth director Walker and wbrault@hamlinechurch.org. We hope you'll join us next year.
2019 BOUNDARY WATERS TRIP
August 11-16
This summer we will also be providing the opportunity to spend a week in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. As in the past, we will be working with Kowakan Adventures, a part of Camping Ministries in the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. This is open to people of all experience (our last trip had multiple people who had never been camping before!). If you are interested, please contact Walker at wbrault@hamlinechurch.org.
